Access MOGON Filesystems w/ Mac
The filesystems of MOGON can also be mounted under Mac OS. In this article we explain how to mount the GPFS and Lustre filesystems of MOGON.
Despite the shutdown of MOGON I you can mount all shares described here.
Overview
Warning! For the login information, please enter the user name in the following format:

Virtual Private Network
If you are located outside of the University Campus, you first have to create a VPN connection as explained by the ZDV in this article.Access your MOGON II project directory
- Open
Finder
and pressCmd-K
to connect to a remote server.
After this you should see the contents of the folder
GPFS
To access GPFS filesystem, you have to provide the Hostmogonsmb.zdv.uni-mainz.de
. Different shares can be found in section Overview.
